My first item for the Making it in March challenge

I love making these little patchwork bags and have a few ready made, hope to sell some at our Thimbles sale tables through the year.  Next on my list are some calico tote bags with hexies appliqued on the fronts.

Dont know why its hanging sideways...it looked ok on the preview. You will have to tilt your head

Sharing skills is an excellent idea in my book.

All I made today was a dent in the washing and folding and a decent dinner!

I made lots of piles of things today:  socks, ironed linen, t shirts and pancakes - and that's it!

Liking the liquorice allsorts design on the bag.

This is what I made and blogged about today - it isn't quite finished yet. as it took me an hour to complete the little blanket that goes with it, but I'll get it finished tomorrow night.

I haven't finished anything today but I have started somethings.  I used my juice extractor for the first time.  I have set up six herb pots as my herbs died while I was away.  I am hoping to get to my paper piecing soon.

Change of plans today, visitors cancelled, but I had already made a tray of cookies and the lemon drizzle cake - so those are my first 'makes' of the day.

I made a seed tray from 12 empty tin cans - pierced holes in the bases, filled them with compost, planted 4 tins each of runner beans, dwarf beans and peas. I used an old baking tray as a base and wrapped a piece of wallpaper around all the tins.

Now just waiting for some finger rolls to prove for my next 'make' of the day.

Easier said than done - need more practice at dough sculpting.

Better luck with my simple bean sprouter

All you industrious frugal making folk are putting me to shame...

Sometimes my days just seem to disappear and by the end of it I've been rushing round like the proverble blue a..ed fly, and I haven't actually achieved anything at all noteworthy!!

I vow that from tomorrow I will make lots!! Well, after miss 18s hospitAl appointment, and the visit to her boyfriend in Swanage...

What a beautiful card - I'm sure it will be cherished (and possibly framed) by the recipient.

Latest make for me was my secret book but I forgot to post photo, so here's the update since the glue set. I don't have a bar of chocolate or wad of notes to fit inside it so I used batteries to demonstrate the size of the 'box' inside the book.

Fluffy blanket has now gone to its new home and today's make, other than a pie and another batch of ice cream (for DD & DGDs), was this duck egg shell mini macramé planter.

Blogged it.
