How to make festive tin can lanterns in 4 easy steps

Adult supervision required for any younger members of the family trying this.

STEP 1
Freeze them full of water

Get a hammer, a nail, a pair of gloves and a non slip surface

Design your lantern by knocking nail holes to form the pattern

Light a small candle inside your lantern

Very effective!   I'm guessing you could punch holes near the top each side and use wire as a handle for hanging them.    Be great with citronella candles for the garden in the summer.

Yes, you can hang them up like lanterns using wire. Hadn't made one of these for years! Brownies, Guides & youth club came in handy after all!
